: ARRIVE JAIPUR / TRANSFER TO PUSHKAR (150 KM / APPROX 3 HOURS)
On arrival at the Sanganer airport in the magnificent Pink City of Jaipur, you will be met and transferred to visit Hawa Mahal, so it is named because it was essentially a high screen wall built so that the women of the royal family could observe street festivals while unseen from the outside. It is Constructed of red and pink sandstone, the palace sits on the edge of the City Palace, Jaipur, and extends to the zenana, or women’s chambers. Visit Jantar Mantar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) to observe the nineteen astronomical instruments, as well as the world’s largest stone sundial. Also, witness the architectural beauty of the grand City Palace. Later you will be transferred to Pushkar for check-in at your hotel. Evening is at Leisure. This morning after breakfast be ready to visit Pushkar which is one of the five sacred dhams (pilgrimage site) for devout Hindus. Pushkar is one of the oldest existing cities of India. It lies on the shore of Pushkar Lake. The date of its actual origin is not known, but legend associates Brahma with its creation. Today you will visit Pushkar Lake, Brahma Temple, Savitri Temple, Varaha Temple, various Ghats, and more. In case you are travelling between Oct. 26th, 2017 – Nov.05th, 2017 you can enjoy the festivity at the famous Pushkar Fair. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.
