DAY 1
Embarkation from Longyearbyen, Norway
- Your Arctic expedition will begin with your embarkation of the ship in Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen
- Enjoy mesmerising views of snow-clad mountains and icy waters as your ship sails from the island

DAY 2-5
Spitsbergen, Norway
- Today, you will explore Spitsbergen, the largest Norwegian-ruled Svalbard island, that is blessed with abundant wildlife and breath-taking beauty
- Here, you will visit stunning Glacier Fronts and steep- walled Fjords populated with polar bears, Spitsbergen reindeer and walrus among other possible animal sightings
- Bird watchers will be excited to see ivory gulls, arctic terns, long-tailed ducks, skuas and kittiwakes
- If the conditions allow, you will be able to sail within 10 degrees of the North Pole

DAY 6-7
Greenland Sea
- Today, while sailing south through the famous Greenland Sea, you will learn about the history and wildlife of Greenland, your next stop
- Visit the deck where you will be able to learn to identify seabirds on the wing through a lecture Alternatively, you can also enjoy an icy cocktail in the bar or watch a movie to spend your time at the sea

DAY 8-11
Eastern Greenland
- While you are touring Greenland’s remote eastern coast, you will be taken on Zodiac Cruises and shore visits to many locations
- You will visit the ruins of the ancient Thule Settlements and spot grazing muskoxen (home to 40% of the world’s population)
- Finally, your ship will sail through the picturesque Scoresbysund, also called the birthplace of many icebergs and famous as the most stunning fjord system worldwide

DAY 12
Denmark Strait
- Today, you will cross the Denmark Strait, the oceanic pathway towards Iceland
- On board, your Expedition Team will give you presentations about the history of exploration in the Arctic and the seabirds to keep you occupied and entertained

DAY 13
Departure from Reykjavik
- Today, your Arctic expedition will come to an end
- You will disembark in Akureyri and board your waiting charter flight to Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital
- In case you have booked post-expedition accommodation, you will be transferred to a central downtown location
Important Note: Embracing the unexpected is part of an expedition which also adds an element of excitement to your adventure.
