DAY 1
Embarkation in Longyearbyen
- Your Spitsbergen Arctic adventure will begin with your boarding the ship in the largest settlement on the island, Longyearbyen, Norway
- As you sail on icy cold waters, you will enjoy breath-taking views of snow-covered mountains that serve as the backdrop
- Overnight on the ship
DAY 2
Rossford
- Today, you will sail north into Krossfjord, where you will get to see some of the best calving in Spitsbergen making for a rare photo opportunity
- You will continue deeper in the fjord, towards the active Lilliehöök Glacier. Here, you will be awed by the sound of big chunks of ice breaking off the glacier and slipping into the surrounding icy water
- Then, you will proceed on a Zodiac Excursion to Ny London, an abandoned mining site, where you can enjoy a guided walk. You can also encounter local wildlife like the Svalbard reindeer
- Return to the ship
- Overnight on the ship
DAY 3
Monaco Glacier and Moffen Island
- Today, your morning will start with the spectacular sight of Monaco Glacier, an abundant iceberg producer
- You will explore the region for belugas and other marine mammals along with your expedition team. Some possible landing sites will include Worsleyneset, Texas Bar and the Andoyane Islands, where polar bears have been spotted before
- Then, you will make a stop at 80°N at Moffen Island, the small, crescent-shaped island with a Walrus Sanctuary. Enjoy observing large groups of these clumsy mammals with your binoculars for an unforgettable experience

DAY 4
Smeerenburg and Cruise to Magdalenafjord
- Start your day with a visit to Smeerenburg, a 400-year-old abandoned settlement of Dutch whalers
- Here, you will be able to explore the shore and get interesting insights into the whaling history of Spitsbergen at one of the northernmost outposts of Europe
- Later, you will Cruise to Magdalenafjord to enjoy and take in the rewarding panoramic views of magnificent glaciers, snowy mountains and crystal-clear waters

DAY 5
Optional Adventures
- Today, your last full day of this arctic adventure, you can spend your day by choosing from several OptionalAdventure Tours
- You can visit Barentsburg, a Russian mining town where the world’s northernmost brewery is located, or Trygghamma, where have the chance to walk on a glacier
- You can end your day in Alkehornet, where towering cliffs are nested by seabirds like guillemots, fulmars and thick-billed murres. You might also get a chance to spot reindeer here
- In the evening, enjoy the Captain’s Dinner, where you will gather with your other shipmates and exchange wonderful stories of your Arctic adventure
- Overnight on the ship
DAY 6
Departure from Longyearbyen
- Time to say goodbye as your adventure comes to an end
- Your tour will end at the shores of Longyearbyen, the seaside settlement
- From here, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home
