DAY 1
Arrival at Kandy (Enroute Punnawala Elephant Orphanage)
- After arriving at the Bandarnaike International Airport, your Sri Lanka holiday package from India will begin
- En route Kandy, stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage a famous orphanage in Sri Lanka that provides shelter to abandoned, orphaned and wild injured elephants. Here you will get an opportunity to see the largest collection of captive elephants ranging from new born to elderly matriarchs. Learn about the largest mammals on land here
- Then, transfer to Kandy. It is a World Heritage Site of UNESCO and its flocked by tourists due to its location and beauty. Perched at a height of 480 m, this coastal town has a lot of attractions to offer
- You will enjoy a Sightseeing Tour of Kandy. Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, the Temple of Tooth, the campus of the state university of Sri Lanka, Peradeniya University and get awed by the beautiful panoramas of this scenic town from the Upper Lake Drive
- In the evening, you will go to see a Kandyan Dance Performance, an enchanting collection of Kandy’s native dance forms followed by a stunning fire-walking finale
- Later, have a gala time shopping at some of the best shopping spots in Kandy famous for selling jewellery, batiks, gems, handicrafts, silks, etc.

DAY 2
City Tour of Kandy
- Today, post breakfast, you will get ready for a City Tour of Kandy
- During the tour, visit the Temple of the Tooth, a revered Buddhist temple in Kandy that houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. It is a premier sacred site for Buddhists all over the world and is also known as Dalada Maligawa by Sri Lankans
- Nextstop will be the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, a spectacular flower garden spread over 147 hectares. It houses more than 300 species of orchids, many spices, palm trees and medicinal plants. Over 1.2 million people visit this garden every year
- In the evening, have dinner

DAY 3
Kandy – Nuwara
- Following breakfast at the hotel, check-out and head towards Nuwara Eliya
- On arrival, enjoy a City Tour of Nuwara Eliya. The tour will take you through some of the major attractions of the city. Visit the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, a 19th century 18-hole golf course located at an altitude of 6,000 feet, Victoria Park, a public park that was originally the research field of Hakgala Botanical Garden, the Trout Streams and delight in Boating or Fishing at Lake Gregory
- Also visit the Working Tea Factory, where the steady-growing bushes produce one of the finest Orange Pekoe Tea in the world
- Next, you will go see St Claire’s Waterfall, also known as the “Little Niagara of Sri Lanka” and the Haggala Gardens, a temperate hill-country garden adorned by floating water lilies and lotus, creating a serene atmosphere
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel
DAY 4
Nuwara – Colombo
- After breakfast, check-out and proceed towards Colombo
- Colombo is a premier city in Sri Lanka, being the largest geographically and the administrative centre in the past. The city has influences of the by-gone colonial era which blend in beautifully with its modern evolution in terms of its architecture, cuisine and places of entertainment
- After arriving in Colombo, get ready for a City Tour of Colombo to explore itshistorical, commercial and religious sites of prominence. You will visit the Fort, the premier business district of Colombo, the Pettah, a lively neighbourhood renowned for its open-street markets, the Cinnamon Gardens, former plantations which are now the office of the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, the Galle Face Green, a charming park on the ocean
- Have dinner in the evening
- Overnight at the hotel
DAY 5
Departure from Colombo
- Today will be the last day of your Sri Lanka tour package from India
- After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight for the onward journey
