DAY 1

Arrival in Brussels

  • Welcome to Belgium-one of the top beer-making countries in the world. Receive a warm welcome at the Brussel airport and head to your hotel
  • The city of Brussel is widely famous for its beer cafes and still has two traditional breweries- the Zenne Brewery and the Cantillon Brewery. Today, you will visit the Cantillon Brewery, which is the part of the Brussels Gueuze Museum. Savour the typical beers, take a look at the old and new brewing equipment and learn about the different stages of the beer brewing processes
  • Later, explore the unique and diverse beer culture in brewpubs like Delirium Cafe, which offers more than 2000 varieties of beer, Moeder LambicMorte SubiteBier Circus, Poechenellekelder among others. Restaurants like Restobieres and Alain Fay’s restaurant offer authentic Flemish cuisine prepared with local beers
  • The day will come to an end with an overnight stay at the hotel in Brussels

Bruges

DAY 2

Brussels – Bruges

  • After a lovely breakfast at the hotel, check-out and travel to Bruges, located in the North-west Belgium. Bruges is known for its handmade lace, 16th-century buildings, breweries and interesting art galleries
  • When in Bruges, visit the Bourgogne des Flandres Brewery. After that, visit the family owned and run Halve Maan Brewery. Experience the beer brewing process first-hand and you can also enjoy the panoramic views of the beautiful medieval city of Bruges that the brewery has to offer. After your breweries tour, walk around some of the Bruges’ best beer cafes like t Brugs BeertjeCafe Rose Redt PoatersgatDe Garre and Le Trappiste
  • Later, visit the Bruges Beer  Museum. Take the beer challenge quiz, discover the history of Belgian beers and get a chance to sample upto 16 different types of beers!
  • Your afternoon will be well-spent at the at the Duvelorium Grand Beer Cafe. Nothing can be more exciting than sipping beers on the terrace overlooking the vibrant Market Square of Bruges. In fact, you can go for shopping at the Market Square or just stroll around the Historium, a major tourist attraction.
  • After that, head to R&B (Ribs n Beer), located just a 5 minutes walk from the historic Market Square of Bruges. At R&B, you can try out some luscious slow-cooked ribs in a variety of sauces. It also offers a wide range of  Belgian beers including Trappist beers and other drinks
  • Have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel

Ghent

DAY 3

Bruges-Ghent

  • After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and get ready to visit the Huyghe Brewery located in the east Flanders. Also known as the Delirium Tremens Brewery, it is a large Belgian family-owned brewery founded in 7906
  • Thereon, head out to Ghent, a port city in the North-west Belgium and one of the university town in Flanders
  • Today, take a boat ride to the Gruut Brewery, which is located in the Ghent city centre. The speciality of this brewery is that they do not use hops, but a mix of herbs called ‘gruut’ as an ingredient. Ghent also boasts a vibrant pub culture and numerous beer cafes. See some of the best ones including the Waterhuis aan de Bierkant and the Dulle Griet

Mechelen

DAY 4

Ghent – Mechelen

  • Have your breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Today, you will travel to Mechelen. Take a small walking tour around the centre of Mechelen and reach the Brewery Het Anker. It is one of the oldest breweries in the country and is known for its globally acclaimed beer, Gouden Carolus Classic
  • Enjoy a unique beer and cheese pairing lunch at the brasserie itself
  • When in Antwerp, experience the Center De Koninck brewery and learn more about the beer history of Antwerp
  • You will have your dinner at the brewery t Pakhuis, located in the Zuid District. When at the brewery building, you get an opportunity to follow the various phases of the brewing process from all corners of the building. You can savour 3 home-brewed beers, Antwerp Blond, Antwerp  Bruin and Nen Bangelijke
  • Later, take a tour around Antwerp’s best beer cafes
  • Return to your hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel

Leuven

DAY 5

Mechelen – Leuven – Guided Pub Tasting Tour

  • Eat up your breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and leave for Leuven, which is located about 25 km east of Brussels
  • Once you reach Leuven, visit the Stella Artois Brewery. Get on the bikes and reach this famous brewery, which is the birthplace of the famous beer brand, Stella Artois. The first time the beer marketed from this brewery was in 7926 and since then it has been making tasty and high-quality beer
  • Go on a bike tour in and around Leuven  and see places such as the Townhall University Library, St Peter’s Church,Beguinage, M-Museum    Leuven and Domus  Brewery
  • In the evening, discover special bars and beers with a Guided Pub Tasting Tour in the city centre
  • Have a restful overnight stay at the hotel
